At Pharmacy For Life, we are committed to inspiring positive change within our community and we prioritize patient care above all else. Our mission statement “to help as many people as we can, in as many ways possible” comes from a genuine desire to provide the highest quality service while continuously expanding products and evolving our services to meet the needs of our community.
Home Health Care. We pride ourselves on being the leading home health experts in the communities we operate in, and beyond. Our home health department focuses on custom products and tailored solutions that enhance quality of life and independence at home. Our dedicated home health teams are trained and certified to offer custom compression and mastectomy recovery garments. Our home health department boasts a large offering of crutches, canes, wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters; walking braces and post-op shoes; braces, splints and stabilizers; ostomy, catheter, & incontinence supplies; and first aid and wound care supplies.
Extended Pharmacy Services. Beyond the traditional roles of a pharmacy, we actively seek opportunities to be the change our community needs. Whether it's advocating for improved access to healthcare services, participating in local health initiatives, or supporting underserved populations, we believe in using our platform to make a positive impact. Through collaboration with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, we work tirelessly to address health disparities and promote wellness for all. We embrace the added scope of practice of assessing and prescribing for minor ailments and preventive conditions.
As more and more Atlantic Canadians find themselves without a primary care physician, and understaffed emergency rooms operate beyond capacity, our pharmacists are stepping in to save the day. Pharmacists have transitioned into frontline healthcare providers and are increasingly becoming the first point of contact for many patients seeking expert advice.
The current healthcare crisis won’t be resolved overnight, but the Pharmacy For Life team is actively working to alleviate that burden. We are committed to investing in our people and technology so our pharmacies can continue to fulfill its mission to help as many people as we can, in as many ways possible.
