Fluticasone Propionate Aqueous Nasal Spray 50mcg per spray
Active Ingredient: Fluticasone propionate (Corticosteroid) 50mcg per spray - allergy reliever.
Inactive Ingredients: benzalkonium chloride (as a preservative), dextrose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, phenylethyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, purified water.
Uses: temporarily relieves symptoms of hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, itchy watery eyes, sinus pain and pressure.
Directions:
Adults 18 years and older: Shake gently before each use.
Week 1: use 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning.
Week 2 through 3 months: use 1 spray in each nostril once daily, if your symptoms are under control.
After 3 months of daily use: ask your doctor if you can keep using.
Do not use more than directed.
Warnings:
For use in the nose only.
Do not spray into your eyes or mouth.
Do not use: in children and adolescents under 18 years of age unless advised by a doctor; to treat asthma; if you have an injury, surgery, or ulcers in your nose that are not fully healed; if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of the ingredients.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have: glaucoma, cataracts or any eye problem; liver or thyroid disease; yellow or green discharge from your nose; have a fever or a nasal or sinus infection; have a blood clotting problem and are taking Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA).
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking: medicine for HIV infection (such as ritonavir); a steroid medicine (i.e. for asthma, allergies or skin rash); ketoconazole pills (medicine for fungal infection) or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
When using this product: slower growth in adolescents (12 to 17 years of age) may occur; stinging or sneezing may occur for a few seconds right after use; occasional nose bleeding may occur; this product may take a few days to reach its full effectl; do not share this bottle with anyone else as this may spread germs; remember to tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including this one.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: you have or come into contact with someone who has chickenpox, measles or tuberculosis; your symptoms do not get better within 7 days of starting use or you get new symptoms such as severe facial pain or thick nasal discharge; you get an allergic reaction to this product; you have severe or frequent nosebleeds; you get a constant whistling sound from your nose; you get new changes to your vision that develop after starting this products.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
