Imodium Quick Dissolve Tablets 2mg
Fast, soothing relief of diarrhea, often with just one dose.
When Imodium Quick-Dissolve tablet is placed on the tongue, the tiny tablet dissolves within seconds and is then simply swallowed with the saliva, so taking it with a liquid is not necessary.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age, except on the advice of a doctor.
Dosage: Adults (12 years and older): 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Do not exceed 8 tablets per day. Read leaflet for more information before use.
Warning: If diarrhea gets worse, lasts longer than 48 hours or you get any unusual symptoms, stop taking the medication and talk to your doctor. Do not use if you have diarrhea and a high fever (39°C or 102°F) or if blood or mucus is present in the stools, or if you have had a rash or other allergic reaction to loperamide hydrochloride. If you are taking antibiotics, have ulcerative colitis or a history of liver disease, talk to a doctor before using this product. Contains phenylalanine (aspartame). Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or Poison Control Centre at once.
Precaution: Imodium should not be used by pregnant or nursing women except on the advice of a doctor.
Medicinal Ingredient: Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg
Non-Medicinal Ingredients (alphabetical): aspartame, gelatin, mannitol, mint flavour, sodium bicarbonate.
Store Imodium Liqui-Gels at room temperature (15°C-30°C). Protect from light.
