Blistex Lip Ointment contains medications to provide temporary relief from the pain and itching of lip sores and blisters.
The moisture and emollient base in Blistex Lip Ointment hydrates and softens lips to alleviate cracking and seriously dry lips. Beauty professionals also routinely use Blistex Lip Ointment to return a smooth texture to lips before applying lip colour. When using as a lipstick base, apply liberally and leave on lips for five minutes. Then remove excess with a tissue before applying colour.

Directions: Apply to lips liberally 3 or 4 times daily. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use on children less than 2 years of age.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
