Florastor Daily Probiotic Supplement

Recommended Use: Helps to prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhea in adults - to treat acute diarrhea (infectious) in children - to reduce the symptoms related to acute diarrhea (infectious) in adults.

Recommended Dose: Adults: Take 2 capsules daily, (2 capsules can be taken 1-3 times a day, up to a maximum of 6 capsules). Children (1-12 years of age): Take 2 capsules twice per day.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains: 5x10⁹ CFU of Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 (Equivalent to 250mg).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose and titanium dioxide (E171).

Risk Information: Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days. Do not open the capsules in the surrounding of patients having a central venous catheter. Lactose intolerance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use of this drug if you have an abnormal condition of the gastrointestinal tract lining (i.e. ulcer or other GI tract disorders). Do not use Florastor if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, long-term corticosteroid treatment). Do nto use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Treatment does not replace rehydration when this is necessary. May contain traces of soy. Do not use if you have hypersensitivity to any component of the product (especially allergy to yeast) or if you have a central venous catheter.

Known adverse reactions: Rarely: flatulence, pruritus, rash, angioedema. Very rarely: anaphlactic reaction.

Store at 15-30°C in dry area. No need to refrigerate.
